Sunday School

Did you know the first ever Sunday School classes were started by John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement? They taught the people to read so they could read the Bible.

We continue the tradition of reading the Bible and using it to change our lives for the better. Sunday School at Epworth is vital to how we are growing as Christians. Sunday school is fellowship, praying, sharing, and caring.

We offer classes for adults of every season, and children 6 weeks and older. Sunday School classes begin at 9 a.m. (adults) and 9:30 a.m. (children). From 10 -10:30 a.m. the Sunday School classes have a time of fellowship together in the Whitehurst Welcome Center and enjoy breakfast snacks, coffee & juice.

We Have fun!

Our children literally sing, dance and play every Sunday in Children's Church - a great experience crafted just for them and led by trained volunteers each week. VBS is a blast, too!

Our adults love to eat - and eat well. Whether it be Wednesdays Nights during the school year, our Easter Egg Hunt, Homecoming Sunday in September, or other great days, we know how to have a good time with good people.

WE HAVE FUN @epworth!
